I enjoyed my stay with clean, comfortable rooms and a lovely breakfast that kept me energized for my weekend explorations, while the nearby Poolsbrook Country Park was just a short distance away, perfect for a relaxing stroll after visits to the Chesterfield Museum & Art Gallery, which was a fascinating find just a few kilometers down the road.

The courteous staff made the stay enjoyable, especially the night shift gentleman who went out of his way to provide late-night food for our group after a wedding. The rooms were simple yet comfortable, and the breakfast offered a delightful selection of local cold cuts. being located near a major road led to some noise disturbances, and the overall hotel experience felt a bit basic compared to others in the area.

Just what we needed!
We were just passing through and stayed for one night. The room was comfy, and the staff were super friendly. Had a decent dinner in the bar area, but breakfast was a bit hit-or-miss. the bacon was hard. On the bright side, those Cumberland sausages were a real treat!

After five nights in a cozy double room, we felt well looked after by the warm staff. The breakfast had a great selection. A nearby Harvester offered convenient dining, though I'd recommend exploring other dinner options for a more varied menu.
